The homely atmosphere and the personal hospitality of the Duggan Family , who can trace their roots back 250 years at Highfield, is immediately apparent to any visitor .
From the cosy "Highfield Bar " to the open plan contemporary "Conkers Bar " and "Lumberjacks Steakhouse" one has a sense of art working with nature.
The "Conkers Bar " counter top is carved from the oldest Chestnut tree on the Golf Course, which fell down in winter storms and the actual tree trunk, is at its base. A great place to relax after a round of golf or to meet new friends.
